Top 3 areas perfect for tourists to stay in Dubai

Over the years, Dubai has become one of the most visited destinations in the world. If you are planning to visit Dubai soon, this article will help identify some of the best places to stay during your vacation. Firstly, it is important to understand that summer falls between June and September where the temperatures rise severely.  If you don’t appreciate the hot summers, you can visit during winter that falls between October and May. During the winter season, the temperatures are favourable for a vacation.

Here are the perfect areas to stay in Dubai

1. Downtown Dubai

This is one of the most popular destinations in Dubai. It is home to most of the major tourist attractions in the world. For instance, the tallest building, the largest shopping mall, the tallest dancing fountain, the biggest man-made lake and many more. This neighbourhood is strategically located in the heart of the city making it perfect for a vacation.

The area has a lively and thriving atmosphere that is designed for those with a special appreciation of life. This is a very high-profile neighbourhood that offers world-class amenities and attractive lifestyle privileges to visitors and residents

2. Dubai Marina

This is another popular tourist destination in Dubai developed by Emaar Properties. It is meticulously planned with efficient road networks and a picturesque marina. One of the most alluring features of this neighbourhood is the large canal that stretches over 3.5 kilometres that provide access to the sea on both sides. The developer has also been involved in a similar project known as the Dubai Creek Harbour Emaar.

There are two metro stations near the marina. Since the roads can get busy during rush hours, the metro is always an easy way to access other parts of the city. Also, if you want to get around the neighbourhood, you can use the Dubai Tram that has eleven stations.

3. Jumeirah area

Jumeirah is a coastal area in Dubai which offers scenic views and a wide array of world-class restaurants, cafes, hotels and other amazing amenities. In Arabic, the name Jumeirah means beautiful and coincides with the beachfront living and gorgeous views of the area. There is also easy access to pristine white beaches where you can enjoy a wide variety of water activities such as swimming, paddling and more. The Jumeirah area is home to very popular residential properties such as Port De La Mer by Meraas and City Walk apartments Dubai.

5 reasons why Dubai continues to attract millions of tourists every year

Over the last four decades, Dubai has evolved to become one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the world. The city attracts millions of visitors every year to have an experience of a lifetime. Through the years, the number of visitors has been raising and is projected to continue in the coming future. This is a demonstration that most people prefer to have Dubai as their tourist destination of choice.

The city is known for the world’s superlatives such as the tallest building, the highest dancing fountain, the biggest mall and soon the tallest residential complex. It is unsurprising that millions of people are flocking to Dubai to experience the lifestyle of the 21st century and future.

Why do tourists continue coming to Dubai year after year?

1. Hotels

Dubai hosts some of the grandest and most luxurious hospitality facilities in the world that offer top of the range services. In fact, the city is home to the only 7-star hotel in the world, the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. These facilities are spread across the whole city and continue to increase to meet the rising demand.

2. Uptown lifestyle with local culture

Dubai is able to provide a perfect mixture of uptown lifestyle with the traditions of the Emirates. No matter where you visit, you will have an experience you have never had before. Apart from the local traditions, almost every culture in the world is represented in Dubai. As a result, there is a wide variety of dining and entertainment options for everyone.

3. Shopping

Dubai is synonymous with luxurious shopping attracting people from all over the world. The city is home to some of the biggest malls in the world such as the Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, etc. These malls feature top of the range amenities and facilities to cater to a wide variety of needs.

4. Tourist attractions

There is a wide variety of attractions for everyone. In fact, you may not even spend a dime but have an experience of a lifetime. For instance, you can visit the Dubai Fountain placed at the 30-acre man-made lake, the Burj Lake. 5. Residential options

Dubai offers a wide selection of residential options at different prices to cater for every budget. Due to the increasing demand, there are a lot of new upcoming projects in almost every part of the city. Unexpected Dubai – The Things You Need To Check Out

Source

Today Dubai is a city featured on many layovers and connections on numerous long haul flights. But Dubai is not just one large supermarket – with it’s world-famous shopping malls – like many assumed in the past. No, today there is so much to see and do in this megacity in the desert that it is now a popular destination in it’s own right.

Dhow Cruises

An evening Dhow boat cruise is a wonderful way to cool down after a day of activities and to enjoy a gourmet meal on the canals around Dubai. Pretty much everyone who experiences a dhow cruise dinner agrees that it’s one of the best ways to see the city’s illuminated skyscrapers and river banks, while being thoroughly entertained on board. However, for those after a taste of the traditional culture, an ocean trip on a traditional dhow is always an option: These vessels have masts and lateen sails with the hull made of wood and they were once seen absolutely everywhere around the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, sometimes all the way to Indonesia and South East Asia’s mainland, trading in all sorts of spices and minerals, as well as being good vessels for traditional fishing.

Desert Safari

Another go-to activity just outside the city that is drawing more and more visitors every year is the opportunity to take advantage of desert safari Dubai. Packages exist for half-day up to a few days, and the mode of transport can vary between a  traditional camel back ride at sunset into the reddish powder sands, or blasting and dancing through the dunes on Land Cruisers and other powerful 4x4s! Whatever transport you decide on, you will be ensured a veritable feast when the sun sets behind the dunes. The meal will be made in the tradition style of the Emirati people who have lived in the desert for centuries. The Emirati will then delight you as you dine on a buffet in the night dunes with their infamous belly dancing and a “Turana” dance show.

Fishing Trips

Veterans and beginners will delight at the options for deep sea fishing on offer, despite Dubai being overshadowed by classic spots in the Caribbean in the past, though this is no longer true as you can expect to bring back a delicious catch of barracuda or perhaps with some luck a gigantic Bluefin tuna! A wonderful way to take advantage of the great fishing is to go on fishing trips in Dubai aboard a traditional dhow boat and get a taste of what fishing this region used to be like (and still is, to an extent).

So here we have 3 fun activities for you to do in Dubai, which any age group would enjoy. But this is really just the tip of the iceberg as Dubai is evolving all the time. Adventure sports, scuba diving horse riding and indeed horse racing are now all becoming very popular reasons Dubai is drawing more and more tourists every year.
